Our 2017 USA National Poomsae Team Training Camp & Fundraiser was a great success, held on Aug, 12-13! We had a record breaking number for our camp with over 120 athletes, national team members, alternates, and coaches. Together, we were able to have a great 2-day camp, where athletes of all ages and experiences got to train with world class athletes and coaches. The camp helped raised $4,412.50 (after expenses), which will all go toward the National Team Poomsae Team.
The National Team also got to train together, establish strong dynamic, and start great preparation momentum toward Pan Am Championships and President Cup coming up.
Special thanks to the following:
– National Team Coaches Dan Chuang, David J. Turgeon, Barbara Brand, and Huy Nguyen for your valuable time working with all athletes.
– Stanford Taekwondo and Team-M Taekwondo for your warm hospitality hosting the event at such a wonderful venue and managed setup/breakdown.
– To all athletes and instructors for coming out. We hope you had a great time and look forward to seeing you at our next event!
