We are pleased to announce a series of upcoming poomsae training opportunities athletes of all levels! The US National Team coaches will be conducting National Poomsae Team training events throughout the United States as a way of disseminating the latest training methods and poomsae knowledge, as well as to raise funds for the US National Poomsae Team, which is largely self-funded. 100% of the proceeds will help support our USA National Poomsae Team.

Taking both sessions is recommended for black belts as important foundational information will be covered the first session.
Description:
Team USA posted 20 medals (4 gold) at the most recent World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, as well as a dominant performance at the 2017 Pan American Championships – come and learn some of the training methods that made that performance possible! Coach Long Nguyen will explain the training methods used to train athletes of all levels, from novice competitors through world-medalist caliber athletes.
Session 1 (10am-12pm) will focus on the poomsae fundamentals and the Taegeuk poomsae. This session is open to yellow belts through black belts.
Session 2 (1:00pm-4:00pm) will focus on Yudanja (black belt) poomsae and aspects of accuracy and presentation directly applicable to competition. It will also cover a brief introduction to freestyle fundamentals and Beegak poomsae. This session is open to black belts only.
