US National Poomsae Team Seminar – Dallas, TX – June 2, 2018

We are pleased to announce a series of upcoming poomsae training opportunities athletes of all levels! The US National Team coaches will be conducting National Poomsae Team training events throughout the United States as a way of disseminating the latest training methods and poomsae knowledge, as well as to raise funds for the US National Poomsae Team. 100% of the proceeds will help support our USA National Poomsae Team.

Session 2: 3:30pm-6:30pm (Black Belts ages 6+)

One Session: $40

Two Sessions: $75

Taking both sessions is recommended for black belts as important foundational information will be covered the first session.

Description:

Team USA posted 20 medals (4 gold) at the most recent World Taekwondo Poomsae Championships, as well as a dominant performance at the 2017 Pan American Championships – come and learn some of the training methods that made that performance possible! The instructors will explain the training methods used to train athletes of all levels, from novice competitors through world-medalist caliber athletes.

Session 1 (12:30pm-3:30pm) will focus on poomsae fundamentals and presentation for all belts. For interested students, Freestyle and Beegak Poomsae will be broken out into separate groups.
Session 2 (4:00pm-7:00pm) will focus on poomsae fundamentals and presentation for black belts and the black belt forms. For interested groups, Freestyle and Beegak Poomsae will be broken out into separate groups.
Both sessions will include some discussion of the new WT scoring rules.

For black belts, taking both sessions is recommended.
